Maria Fernandes Maria Fernandes, is a sole practitioner, a lawyer practicing in Canadian Immigration Law for the past 10 years. She graduated from the University of Windsor in 1993 with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, completed a Bachelor's of Education in 1994 and a Bachelor of Laws in 1997. She also attended Law School at the Detroit Mercy Law School and is pursuing a Master of Laws degree at Wayne State University in the area of Corporate Commercial law. She was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2000 and is a Member of the Law Society of Upper Canada in good standing. Ms. Fernandes has represented a wide spectrum of immigrants to Canada from all over the world. For the purposes of today's presentation Ms. Fernandes will discuss permanent residency applications under the business program and temporary foreign workers. In particular the presentation shall provide an overview of Canadian Foreign Work Visas, Business Visas as well as Intracompany transfers and Investor's Visas.

His hands-on style allows him to fully understand his client’s objectives and actively participate in the implementation of his client’s initiatives. Don has served as a board member and chair person for a number of community organizations and continues to do so today. He is a member of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants and a board member of a local credit union. He is a graduate of the University of Ottawa, B.Comm. (honours) 1978.
