TYE Global winners 2011 - TiE Austin & TiE Carolinas teams

TYE Global Competition 

TiE Carolinas were the hosts for this year's TYE Competition with 9 Chapters participating. The program is held in 9 cities around the world – Atlanta, Boston, Carolinas, Seattle, San Diego and Austin, London, Delhi and Jaipur. This year, the final global competition involved 3 continents and was held on April 30th, 2011 at Raleigh, North Carolina.

TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) Global Program coaches and trains young high school students to become the next generation of entrepreneurs. The unique program helps high school children learn about the challenges and rewards of becoming an entrepreneur. Seasoned entrepreneurs and mentors teach high school children (grades 9-12) based on a business-focused curriculum. The TYE program nurtures the creativity, self-confidence, leadership and overall development of the students. The program culminates with global Business Plan Competition for the youth.
